Word of mouth has been one of the first and traditional ways one can advertise and Market their products and services, even with the introduction of easier methods like social media, word of mouth still remains extremely effective. I have been able to get a few customers in the past through word of mouth, have you tired word of mouth advertising before?

This has already been discussed in previous comments. It's classic marketing, obviously effective but quite old and outdated for today. That doesn't mean it doesn't work. In fact, it will always work.

I think word of mouth still plays a big role in smaller communities or niche markets where trust is a major factor. Even with all the digital tools available now, personal recommendations seem to carry more weight than ads. It’s interesting how some businesses grow almost entirely from referrals without much online presence at all.

Word of mouth marketing is powerful because it builds trust naturally, people value recommendations from friends or family more than ads. It’s cost-effective, authentic, and can spread quickly, boosting brand credibility and attracting loyal customers through genuine personal endorsements.

First of all, focus on delivering exceptional products or services that naturally encourage sharing. And then, engage customers with personalized experiences, ask for reviews and referrals, create shareable content, and build strong community connections to amplify positive buzz organically.

In today's digital world, it is safe to say that word of mouth marketing has been relegated to the background. One disadvantage of this method of advertising is that it reaches a low number of people compared to other newer means of advertising.
But someone that is skilled in persuasiveness can effectively make use of it.

Word-of-mouth marketing relies on organic interactions, meaning businesses don't need to invest heavily in paid advertising to reach new customers.

Word of Mouth marketing is something that every business person should do as a lifestyle. I am always telling anyone I meet about my business. I rarely have any kind of conversation that I would not talk about my business. If I don't talk about my business, who would?

I think that word of mouth marketing is the most targeted method of advertising. People always tend to talk about particular products with people that are more likely to buy. And with word of mouth marketing, you are more likely to make instant sales if you are good at it.

Word-of-mouth remains one of the most effective ways to promote your product or service. In fact, when people enjoy your product or service, they will naturally spread the word about how good it is. So, always give your best effort.

I make most of my sales for my business online. The offline sales that I have been able to get in my business was purely from word of mouth marketing. I tell people in church and clubs I frequent about my craft and they come to patronize me.

I think that word of mouth marketing is a double-edged sword. It can be very good for your business. However, trust is a crucial factor when it comes to word if mouth marketing. You may not want to spoil your image in front of others, especially when it comes to business. Promoting the wrong kind of business can damage your reputation and image as well.
