Artificial intelligence has grown a lot and the concept of artificial intelligence has become more and more popular. It will grow even more by the passage of time. Under such kind of circumstances, many web store and online store owners have installed chat bots that deal with customers. There are many problems associated with these chat bots. These bots cannot solve technical problem faced by your customers. They may help when it comes to providing basic guidance related to your web store. In the end, the customer ends up contacting the real technical team. Some if the customers just get frustrated and leave the platform.
 
I hate AI with a passion. Not for some small tasks, it can be useful, but, when it replaces humans, especially with customer support, then I have an issue. It's the reason we do not use AI for the community or our support management. While it's gonna cost more and take extra effort, at least we don't leave our clients with chatbots and no real help.
 
You shouldn’t dismiss AI chatbots just because they aren’t human. In fact, chatbots can be a great complement, or even an alternative, to salespeople in many cases. They work 24/7, instantly respond to customer inquiries, and guide buyers through product choices without delay. Chatbots can handle repetitive questions, recommend items, and even close simple sales, freeing human sales teams to focus on complex or high-value customers. When designed well, they improve customer experience, boost efficiency, and save costs without sacrificing service quality.
 
Generally speaking, you don't have salesmen for your online business, and you don't have AI Chatbots for your offline business. If you shop online, you will rarely find a human sitting on the other side guiding you for your [purchase, it is always AI model that comes to your rescue. However, I do agree that using AI for almost anything is not a good idea.
 
Actually, using AI chatbots can be highly effective if done correctly. They handle repetitive queries instantly, provide 24/7 support, and collect customer data to improve service. While they don’t fully replace human salespeople for complex interactions, chatbots streamline processes, increase responsiveness, and boost overall customer experience.
