I can hardly remember the last time I traveled overseas. I stopped traveling abroad due to health and financial issues. During one of my trips when I was traveling alone, I had a scary experience. I experienced palpitations and could barely breathe. It was true that "mind over body." I used my mind to control what I was feeling, and after about 20 minutes, I felt okay again. I hope I will be able to conquer my fear so I can travel overseas again. When was the last time you traveled overseas?

Last time I went travelling was a few years ago. I didn’t go far abroad, and only ventured to Greece for a couple of weeks for my birthday in October time. Nice weather apart from a few days where it rained heavily

Quite positive, I had gone to Brazil for a few weeks and honestly it was better than I expected, I had low expectations for the country so I was pleasantly surprised, that is, if you don't like the beach and the heat it is clearly not your country, but if not, it is an excellent country.

I was in the United Arab Emirates last month. Dubai is one of my favourite places to travel for vacation and tourism. I'll be going to Istanbul next 4 months because I plan on spending Christmas there.

The last time I traveled overseas was just before the pandemic, and honestly, it feels like a lifetime ago. I went on a trip to Spain, and I still remember walking through the streets of Barcelona, enjoying the food and the energy of the city. Since then, life, responsibilities, and of course finances have kept me from making another international trip. I totally understand what you shared about health and fear while traveling alone it’s no small thing. Feeling unwell in a foreign country can be very scary because you’re away from your usual support system and familiar surroundings.
What struck me from your story is how powerful the mind can be when controlling panic or physical symptoms. I think many of us underestimate just how much “mind over body” can help us get through difficult situations. The fact that you managed to calm yourself down and push through says a lot about your inner strength.
