Designing a website is not that easy, despite the fact that now you can use various tools to design your website. There are various online website hosting services that also offer built-in website builders and designers. However, despite all these tools, many people still struggle to design a professionally made website. They use unprofessional themes and this is also a huge mistake. The theme and template of your website matter a lot. There is a direct relationship between the click through rate and website design. So, what are some other mistakes made by people when it comes to getting your website designed in a professional way?

With the presence of content management systems and website builders, designing a website is not easy. You can design a stunning website without prior experience if you watch just 30 minutes youtube videos. For example, if you want to build wordpress website or wix website, you can do in minutes.

I see common website design mistakes like cluttered layouts, poor navigation, slow loading, ignoring mobile users, weak calls-to-action, and neglecting SEO. These hurt user experience and conversions, so simplicity and clarity should be priorities.

Many people simply avoid a professional approach when it comes to designing a website. Many people often ignore the fact that many advertisements networks often consider professional look of the website. If your website looks professional, then it will have a better chance of getting accepted for monetization. Yes! You read it right. They assign RPM rate according to the looks and professionalism of the website. This is why CPM rate and RPM rate of websites may differ a lot.

Many websites fail due to cluttered layouts, poor navigation, slow loading, weak calls-to-action, and bad mobile design. Ignoring SEO, accessibility, and trust signals also drives users away. Simplicity, clarity, and regular testing are key to a successful, user-friendly site.

Well, bombarding a website with a lots of advertisements and a lots of heavy material/content can certainly decrease the page loading time of a website. I have visited various websites that had horrible loading time because the webpages of those websites were really long. This has to be dealt with in a good manner. Unprofessional websites usually have such kind of problems.

I think one of the common mistakes that people make when designing a website is that they add anything they like on a certain page, which makes it look chaotic. They get too excited, especially for first-time website owners. They also use fonts that are hard to read.
