Online learning is great, but not all courses are created equal. Many platforms allow anyone to upload a course, even if they are not experts, and there is no proper quality control in place. While platforms like Udemy have a lot of course options, quality can vary widely. Before enrolling, check reviews, instructor credentials, and course previews.

Have you ever taken a course that didn’t meet your expectations? What platforms do you trust most?

I use online courses to learn skills or build knowledge, choosing platforms like Coursera for data analysis or Udemy for digital marketing. I study at my pace, apply concepts, and boost my expertise effectively.

I have never bought a course, but if I did, I would take many aspects into account. For example, there are course sellers who offer a lot of free knowledge, whether on YouTube or wherever. For example, if I apply their free content and it gives me results, then I think it would be worth paying for their course. However, if not, it is not worth it since it would be an unnecessary waste of money.

Online courses are a great way to learn at your own pace. I’ve used them to pick up marketing and design skills. They’re flexible, affordable, and often come with communities or certificates that help reinforce what you’ve learned.

Coursera is my favorite platform to get course that I use to upskill. They have a wide array of courses on different subjects. There are other courses that are advertised on social media that I have to contact the course owners directly to get the course. Some were good while some were just average.

You can find two different types of course sites, one, user generated course site where anyone can upload a course, and two, expert provided course. When you are using user generated course site, you need to be careful on the courses to buy. Sometimes you might end up buying very bad course.

Well, I learned how to write and I never sought anyone's help except on certain occasions. This was how I learned to write properly. My old emails are full of grammatical errors. I am still not perfect for sure and I still need to improve a lot. However, now I am an ESL writer who makes a very small amount of money by posting on forums. Having a skill helps a lot. In short, you should seek guidance of a teacher if you are a total newbie. However, you can self-learn various things by yourself if you have the capability to do so.

Writing is one of the popular skills to make money online, however, a lot of people who write are not earning well. Based on my observation, I have identified three issues, one, they don't have a very good writing skills, two, they do not know SEO, and three, they do not know digital marketing.

A see a lot of people claiming that they do SEO writing, however,if you look at their portfolio, you will see their own content do not even rank on the 5th page of SERP.
