Moderating large forums is challenging. Have you tested AI-assisted moderation for spam, toxicity, or thread categorization? How do you balance automation with human oversight to maintain quality and community trust?

I don’t run forums, so I can’t speak from direct experience, but I believe AI could help reduce workload by filtering spam, flagging harmful posts, and organizing reports. It might improve response times and consistency. Moderators would still need to review decisions to maintain fairness and protect community tone, but AI seems promising.

I have used AI on my forums bot for moderation but as an auto posting bot. I had to remove AI posting bots for spam issue. I am sure AI can help in moderation but they will never replace human moderators.
