A ".info" domain is a kind of domain which is used by various information-based websites. Do not get me wrong. It is not only used by educational websites, in fact, it is also used by various other kids if business websites where main focus is to deliver the best kind of information about business to the customers. Today, domain does not determine niche of the website, peoppe use all sorts of domain depending on availability and interest. You can use info for any kind of website. I have seen it being used for education as well personal website, blog, business etc
