They buy those images for their website. ShutterStock has a wide range if high-quality images. This is why it is preferred over other kinds of imaging platforms that offer low-quality images. Havings said that, considering the popularity of ShutterStock, should you actually purchase images from that platform for your website

It is a great idea to buy from Shutterstock if you want high-quality photos and you can use them legally. There are many free images online, but they are not of high quality. If you have the budget, go for it. However, in my case, I prefer to use the photos that I have taken using my smartphone.
