Both models are popular, but which is better for beginners in 2025? What are the pros and cons you’ve personally experienced? How do you pick the right niche or products?

Good question, I think the most appropriate thing for marketing professionals is to start with the affiliate method. It seems to me that they will earn money much faster than with dropshipping, which requires getting clients to buy the products they offer, but of course, that's my point of view.

Even though the answer to this question depends on their skills, knowledge and preference, I think new marketers should start with affiliate marketing. That's because you can easily do affiliate marketing through social media and for dropshipping you might need a store.

I think new marketers should start off by promoting affiliate links and starting from the ground that way. Especially if you're running a blog or a forum. Writing about products can be a bit easier than dropshipping.

i think affiliate marketing is a good way to start. But if you're looking to build a brand and scale something long-term, dropshipping has more potential. Either way, the skills is what we need

New marketers should start with affiliate marketing. It has lower risk, no inventory, and easier setup. I began with affiliate links and found it simpler to learn marketing basics before handling dropshipping’s complexities like inventory and customer service.

Well, affiliate marketing is free and looks easier. However, the problem is not having audience. When you are new you don't have audience and hence no sales. You cannot even run ads because you have also to balance with commission you will be receiving.
