One of the interesting ways to monetize your forum is by selling membership plan. A lot of forums offer VIP members for paying users and they give various perks to VIP users. Some forums even allow to withdraw forum cash if the user has subscribed to the membership plan. Do you sell membership plan?

Who will buy membership on a forum? These days people are ditching X because Musk implemented subscription services, who do you think will pay to use a forum where there are not even 10 k members?

I am working on a membership plan as well, and it would allow members to get access to extremely private content. I have a lot of resources I kept for myself (from summaries on some of the most expensive SEO course - $1,000 a pop) to excel sheets, looker studio dashboards, tips and tricks). And, as soon as I can get some time to put them together here in the forums, we'll have this as well.

So the overall system works, if you do provide excellent value and access to resources members cannot access (or couldn't afford).

X and Facebook offer nothing, but a "verified" badge. Well, we could all live without that

I don't have a forum, but I see how selling membership plans can be a great monetization strategy. Offering VIP perks and exclusive access, like withdrawing forum cash, can definitely increase engagement and provide a steady revenue stream.
