Organic traffic is sustainable but slow; paid traffic offers quick testing and faster sales. A hybrid approach is often best.

What’s your paid-to-organic traffic ratio and why?

For new eCommerce stores, organic traffic is cost-effective and builds long-term, sustainable growth through SEO and content marketing. However, paid traffic offers immediate visibility and targeted reach. Combining both strategies can maximize exposure, with paid traffic driving quick results and organic traffic fostering lasting credibility.

My paid-to-organic ratio is 40:60—organic builds long-term trust, while paid helps test and scale quickly when needed.

I've already talked about this in another post. Paid traffic is about boosting organic traffic. So, it's better to pay for paid traffic, then earn organic traffic, and then pay for paid traffic again to boost your content. Do you understand? This way, it usually doesn't fail.
