Balancing revenue and engagement is key. Do you use subtle ads, affiliate content, or membership perks? Which approaches have earned revenue while keeping users active and satisfied?

I think the best approach is to never use intrusive ads like pop up ads, auto playing video ads, and provide ad free option to paying users (VIP users).
I agree. Intrusive ads push people away and hurt long-term trust. Avoid pop-ups and autoplay videos. Clean banner spots, sponsored threads, and affiliate placements work better when they blend naturally. Offering an ad-free VIP upgrade is a smart way to monetize while respecting users and rewarding loyal members.

I think the best approach is to avoid intrusive ads like pop-ups or auto-playing videos and limit the number of ad units on a page. I think 1-2 ads pee page should be find for most people. If there is more than that they will start using ad blocker. Offering optional premium memberships or sponsored content that feels relevant also works without disrupting user experience.
