If you are running an eCommerce store, you must create a proper invoicing system. You cannot and should not deliver products without a proper invoicing system. In fact, some businesses create three different types of invoices. The first one remains in the office, the second one goes to the customer, and the third one remains with the deliveryman of your office. These records help both customers and management of eCommerce store. So, how to create a better invoicing system for your eCommerce store?
 
For WooCommerce we have Paypal and Stripe. My clients who are on Shopify also have Stripe, if I am not mistaken. In the US these are very easy to set and mostly automated. There's Hubspot's payment system now and also Woo Payments, although I found the fees to be a tad higher.

As invoicing goes, again for US only, I 100% recommend Finli. It's not just that they've been my clients for years, but the platform is spectacular and it does most of the work you need. You have a monthly fee of $39, which would seem high, but ACH payments have 0% fees (better than my bank) and you can split or move the credit card fees to your clients.

They also have recurring payments, which means that, when I onboard a client for monthly SEO, we set up their invoice to go every month on the 2nd for instance and it does. Late payment reminders and all the jazz.

As someone who always forgets to send invoices, this has literally saved me a ton of money :D
