Based on my personal experience and also observation I can say, you can use Reddit for marketing only when you have built your reputation. Without building your authority on Reddit, most of your links and promotional content will get deleted.

I’m not much active on Reddit, so I haven’t tried marketing there extensively. I believw, growth seems to rely on genuinely participating in communities, sharing useful content, and avoiding overt promotion, as Reddit users value authenticity over direct advertising.
