Forums are not dead. In fact, forums are growing more and more. There are so many forums out there. However, since the number of forum has increased, the amount of AI-generated content on forums have also increased by the passage of time.

Under such kind of circumstances, what can be done to prevent AI-generated content on the forums? I think that this could be the job if moderators to find out AI-generated content and action must be taken against such users who use such kind of content. What do you think?

Forum thrives on discussion among human users. When there is AI content, it takes away that real discussion. While AI might create a perfect post, it is not the opinion of human being. When AI generated content is posted on forums, these posts are flagged as spam by search engines.

I have seen many people posting AI content on forums and it clearly lacks human touch. I mean I spend countless hours working on forums and I never use AI content. But other members use AI content and it is quite noticeable.

AI-generated content can harm forums by flooding discussions with repetitive, low-quality, or off-topic posts. It weakens genuine interactions and makes conversations feel robotic. this reduces trust, engagement, and authenticity, driving away real members who value human insight and community connection.

AI-generated content can harm forums by reducing originality and meaningful discussion. It often floods threads with generic or low-effort posts, making it harder for users to find valuable insights. When thwre is a lot of AI generated content this can erode trust, discourage active participation, and diminish the sense of community that keeps forums vibrant and engaging.

Personally, I hate it when I come across AI generated contents being written all over a community. It is very difficult and painful for me to read which is why I will never approve of it being used in forums.
