A multi-vendor ecommerce marketplace is basically an online marketplace where people can register, create their own store within the platform, list their products for sale, and start selling their products, think of platforms like Etsy, eBay, or Amazon. These multi vendor marketplaces are built using complex CMS like Drupal or Joomla, or are custom coded. Some small businesses also use simple platforms like WordPress where they use multi vendor plugins to create a marketplace to sell anything. Have you ever tried it?

No but it would be great to 8multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace where multiple independent sellers can list and sell their products or services to a wider audience of customers

I haven’t and I have neither desire nor skillsto do so. I just want to run a store on eCommerce marketplaces which is actually a multi vendor market

I haven’t and I might not try it. It needs a lot of investment for marketing, branding, and digital advertising

No, but because I don't know if it's more or less complicated, since by having multiple suppliers I don't know if I have to make more or less effort, there are more contacts, more business, more products to document, but I still don't sell enough to have to make contact with multiple suppliers.

I really abhor amazon and this is why I will never use it. I prefer using Etsy. Etsy is very flexible platform with various features and a long range if different kinds of products. Having said that, I have never tried to create my own online store. I have tried to create a website to gain traffic and earn website revenue. However, I have never tried creating an online store.

I tried many years ago. It was a job board for forum posting (so not products, but services). The issue was that the platform did have its limitations and I had to get a VPS as well. It didn't do too well, so I closed it down.
