Organic reach is tough but not impossible. Are you using storytelling, giveaways, or UGC to build a loyal following?

What has helped you grow your audience organically on Instagram or TikTok?

Even though ads are necessary to reach more people and get followers, you can also build followers without advertising. You can do this by creating and sharing interesting content, using interesting title and description and using relevant hashtags.

I believe that consistency is required to build one's audience on social media. You can't be posting once in a month and and expect your followers to grow, where will they come from? Sadly, some content creators get discouraged along the line and give up before they start seeing the results.

Growing a loyal social media audience without ads is possible through consistent posting, engaging storytelling, meaningful interactions, relevant hashtags, and collaborations. Encourage user-generated content, share behind-the-scenes moments, and build community trust. Organic growth takes time but creates stronger, more authentic connections with your audience.

People follow social accounts for a couple of reasons, one, they like the brand or product, two, they like the person behind the page, and three, they like the content. For most people, especially common people, the only way to get into people's attention is through good content.

The best way I see that gives positive results to increase organic audience on Instagram or TikTok is to use storytelling style narration, generally this style of narration makes one connect much more emotionally with the video in question, so I recommend that you do that

For me, growing organically on Instagram and TikTok has been a mix of storytelling, UGC, and consistent engagement rather than relying on any single tactic. Storytelling works wonders because people connect with authentic experiences rather than polished ads. I try to share behind-the-scenes moments, challenges I’ve faced, and small victories it makes the brand feel human and relatable. On TikTok, short, narrative-driven videos tend to perform better than generic promotional clips, especially when they tap into trends without feeling forced.
