Do you think that web designing is a great job?

We know that there are billions of websites out there on the internet. There are many people who dream about getting a job as a website designers. Their main aim is to earn a handsome amount of money by designing websites. Indeed, graphic designing and website designing are two different kinds of fields. However, both of them may have something in common. Since so many websites and blogs are created daily, so you think that website designing is a good field to choose?

Web designing is a great career field, however, it is also very competitive. With the evolution and popularity of content management systems and website builders, building a website has become easy so a lot of people are doing it themselves, which poses the threat website designers.

With the advent of AI, REAL web designers are getting harder to find. I started this back in 2002, hand-coded my websites, then hand-coded Wordpress themes etc. When we switched to blocks and templates, at least I knew what proper development looked like.

As we created our software, knowing code proved to be invaluable, as I know exactly what to request from our developers and also get my hands dirty a little.

Even if now it's easy to just tell chatGPT "create a one page website", web design is not just a prompt. And, if you rely only on automation, without knowing what's happening in the backend, you will never achieve good results.

I think web designing is a great job. It’s creative, in-demand, and allows a lot of flexibility, especially with remote work. I’m not into it yet, but I can definitely see the appeal.

Even though I haven’t pursued it professionally, I appreciate the creativity and impact it offers.

I believe that web designing is not only a great job but also cool, too. Imagine, you get to build and design websites for businesses and individuals, and you take pride in what you do. It gives you a sense of accomplishment seeing the websites you designed, especially since we live in a digital era wherein people go online to do research, shop, and so on daily.
