With most users watching on mute, subtitles and visual cues are key. Are you designing silent-friendly ads?

What’s your most successful silent video format, GIF-style, text-overlay, or stop motion?

Creating silent video ads requires strong visuals, clear text, and engaging storytelling without sound. I focus on bold captions, eye-catching graphics, and quick pacing to grab attention while people scroll, ensuring the message is clear even on mute.

Uhmm, I don't watch contents on mute, and I don't think there are a lot of people who do. But yeah, one should keep people like that in mind so that the ads can reach everyone. But you will have to make use of convincing visuals to make up for the lack of sound.

I haven't tried these kind of video ads but I have interacted with quite a few and based on my personal experience, I think these ads are effective. However, if there are no sound, you need to use powerful visuals and text to capture your audience.

In my personal case, I always design ads considering that many people watch videos without sound. Do you understand? This way, I focus on subtitles and eye-catching visuals. Okay? In my experience, the most successful format has been superimposing text over video. I hope my comment is helpful.
