Transparency matters. Do you explain moderation decisions publicly or handle them privately? Do moderators participate in discussions as regular members? Has involving members in decision-making improved trust? I’d love to hear real experiences on what strengthens or damages community confidence.

Trust grows when moderators communicate openly and treat everyone fairly. Clear rules, consistent enforcement, and transparency about decisions matter. Moderators should participate as regular members too, not just authority figures. Listening to feedback, explaining actions calmly, and resolving conflicts respectfully helps create a culture where members feel safe and valued.

Moderators are bridge between the admins and general users. They should not only follow admins orders but also raise users concerns and try to implement changes that members want in the community. When they work as a bridge connecting users with admins and vice versa, they will build trust both ways.
