Instead of traditional eCommerce stores, many people now sell directly inside communities like Facebook groups, Discord servers, or specialized forums. The trust factor and conversation based selling can feel more natural.
Do you think community-based selling will grow, or will structured marketplaces still dominate long term?

I think community-driven marketplaces are part of how online selling is evolving, but they’re not replacing everything yet. They emphasize collaboration, sustainability, and direct seller-buyer connection, and tech trends are pushing marketplaces to be more interactive and niche-focused.

I think community-based selling will continue to grow because people often trust recommendations and conversations more than traditional ads. That said, I don't think it will replace structured marketplaces. Marketplaces still offer better search, buyer protection, and convenience, while communities work best for niche products, repeat customers, and relationship-driven sales.
