Many people use forums nowadays. However, they also tend to use AI generated content. I have seen even moderators and forum users using AI-generated content on forums to some extent. This means that they believe that use AI content should be acceptable to some extent I might be wrong, but to what extent is AI-generated content acceptable?

As far I know, every forum owners do not want any kind of AI generated content on their site. They will terminate account of any users who has been found to use AI tools to create posts.

Well, in many cases I have myself found many forum owners using AI and this was quite shocking to me. It is their forum after all. They can do whatever they want. However, I think people should follow their own rules when they create the rules for others.

Using AI for summaries, FAQs, or moderation is fine, but relying on it for posts or replies can kill authenticity. Forums thrive on human perspective, so AI should assist and not dominate the conversations.

AI-generated content on forums should be a big no. Forums thrive on genuine human interaction, personal experiences, and authentic discussions. Using AI undermines trust, reduces meaningful engagement, and can flood threads with irrelevant or generic content, which ultimately harms the community.

I've seen situations where members of a forum used AI for both creating topics and replying to others. It was sickening and something that made no sense. I was glad that the forum owner noticed and took action against those who acted in that kind of manner.
