I've seen videos or read on forums more than once where people say AI will put a lot of people out of work. Do you think this is possible? Do you think AI will actually put anyone out of work?

As far as I understand, the jobs that will be replaced by humans with AI are the simplest ones, like cashiers and such. Regarding taxi drivers in China, they have taxis driven by AI, and yet there are many human taxi drivers who still have jobs, so I don't think they're going to be left without jobs, but it's a very interesting topic to talk about, don't you think?

I have a feeling that eventually, in some years to come, we will see AI put people out of work.

Even now, we are seeing self-service checkouts and not enough need for people at cash registers.

AI will change how people work, but it won’t necessarily put everyone out of work. I’ve seen it handle repetitive tasks, freeing humans for creative or strategic roles. For example, AI can draft content, but human oversight and originality are still essential.

I think some jobs will vanish. For instance, a wide adoption of driverless cars will put taxi driver out of jobs.
Maybe some jobs will completely vanish. However, this is not a new phenomena though, a lot of jobs that were popular 10-20 years ago no longer exist, for instance, you don't have milkman these days. With technological advancement, jobs will certainly replaced by something else. But with AI, a lot of new jobs will also be created

Yes. I am seeing a decline in SEO work (and AI is REALLY bad at this), I see writers being left out (and again, without heavy prompting and briefing AI writes junk), programmers who are losing jobs, because everyone and their mother is vibe coding.

We're living some crazy times, let's hope we can all keep on adjusting to the new realities and still thrive.

Well, to some extent some creative people are losing jobs, but smart people are also using AI to get more jobs or get new jobs. For example, on Fiverr one popular service is "Humanizing AI content." Writers are offering editing services for AI generated content.

I've seen many debates claiming that artificial intelligence will replace a large number of jobs. Some say it's inevitable, others believe it will actually transform tasks and open up new opportunities. Personally, I think it's not just about "losing jobs," but about how to adapt and learn to use technology as a tool. Do you think AI will actually eliminate jobs, or will it rather change the way we work?
