The nature of the online business makes it easier for people to run the business without having a physical location as they can hire remote workers. Managing a remote team is easier than ever because we have so many tools available at out disposal.

Platforms like Slack and Discord make real-time communication with staff simple and effective. Slack is great for professional team discussions, while Discord offers flexible chat rooms and voice channels.
Facebook Workspace is another powerful tool to coordinate with your team. Whether you are on a desktop or mobile device, these tools make remote working easy.

If I am managing a remote team, I would ensure that every team member gives daily updates on task that are assigned to them through the main communication channel of the team. Could be Discord. But getting daily progress reports really helps to ensure that every team member is working on their tasks.

I think Discord is a good app to manage team remotely. The best thing is you can create groups based on the responsibilities of your team, for example, you can create a group for your marketers, or in desk workers, or support department.

Reporting on daily tasks is vital, so this should basically be a rule for your entire work team. Being remote makes you more comfortable, but of course, obviously, you must be responsible for what you do. If one of your team fails, it delays the rest and all the work for the month. It is important to keep this in mind.

You can use tools like Slack and Zoom to stay connected, build trust, and encourage collaboration.

I haven’t managed a remote team yet, but I know it requires clear communication, task tracking tools, regular check-ins, and trust. When I do, I’ll focus on building a strong workflow and fostering team accountability from a distance.

Always make sure that every task given to a remote team member has timeline for submission. And make sure you communicate to the team members their roles and the leakage that would happen it they don't fulfil their roles well.

Good points, but you missed one important thing. It is also very important to be practical with time zone ad your remote team might be from different time zone.
