I understand it's not cheap, but I'd like to know: has anyone here ever promoted a product on TV? If so, what did you promote and for how long?

I have not been able to advertise anything on the TV. It is a result of not being able to afford what they are calling for in order to run those ads and nothing more.

But do you have any idea how much they're asking for on TV? I understand it's more expensive, but now I'm wondering how much more expensive it is to promote something on TV.

I haven't advertised anything on TV. TV ads are expensive so I focus more on online advertising, with with video ads, rather than TV, or even radio and newspaper.
But do you think they're better or worse? In my opinion, the best thing is the internet, and it's crazy to think that advertising on the internet is cheaper. I think the internet is wonderful.

Many local and small businesses have never advertised on television. This is due to the fact that television advertisement is very expensive. There was a time when a few local businesses used television advertisement to promote their business. However, times have changed now. Now mostly bigger companies use television advertisment to advertise their products on television. They hire graphic designers and also use other means to enhance advertisment display.

Times have definitely changed, but there is still advertising on TV. If it is as you say, why do some companies continue to advertise on TV?

There is no way that I would be able to afford to advertise on television. They are very expensive and it is very big brands that run those TV adverts. A 2 minute slot might just cost $8 a slot. Five slots is already $5.

i have never advertise anything on TV . I do more on the internet.in.my.country advertising on TV is expensive so I go for online advertising as it is cheaper and affordable

When I was working in an advertising company, we used to run TV ad campaigns for our client. Our clients were usually happy with the ad campaigns

I have never advertised anything on TV. The cost of running TV ads is so expensive. It is only multinationals that can afford to run ads on television even for a week.

I haven't advertised anything on television because I understand how expensive it is. If I ever have a business, I will still not advertise on television because I prefer other ways to advertise that won't hurt my pocket.

TV ads are still a thing even in this age. A lot of people still watch TV and running ads on such TV stations would always attract some traffic to the website or increase sales in some cases.

Yes, I have some experience promoting a product on TV, and I can share what worked and what I learned. A few years ago, I worked with a small wellness brand that wanted to boost awareness for its line of herbal supplements. TV was chosen because the brand’s target audience skewed slightly older, and research showed that demographic still consumed traditional media regularly. The campaign ran for about four weeks, with 30-second spots aired during daytime lifestyle programs and early evening slots.
What I noticed immediately was that TV created a level of visibility that digital ads alone couldn’t achieve. The product gained recognition almost overnight, and inquiries through both phone orders and the website spiked noticeably. However, it wasn’t just the ad itself; the timing, frequency, and consistency of the message played a huge role in making the campaign effective.
