I think domain name generators can help but the question is do they always domain names that have not been taken.
 
My usual strategy is to come up with a name for my website after coming up with the niche. From there I see if any of the TLD names are available and I purchase the domain name if it's the right price. If the name is already taken I just come up with another name until I find a name that fits and the domain name is available.

There are several pages that help you select the domain name for your website according to the characteristics and theme of your website, but if you do not use any of these tools you will have to enter a name according to what your website is about. I personally always use these types of tools.

I totally agree. In these cases, I always recommend using pages or programs that make this easier for you, because if not, you'll get tired of thinking and thinking and not getting anywhere, or you'll miss some keyword. So, all of this is vital.
