Will Decentralized Social Networks Reshape Forum Authority?

Decentralized platforms remove central moderation and control. Could this lead to more organic cultures, or will lack of oversight create chaos? How might forums evolve in response to these emerging systems?

Social networks and forums have already branched off. Even through they were pretty same in the early days, now they have a clear distinction, therefore, I do not see how social networks, including the decentralized platforms, could influence forums.
