Video Ads always wins. People want to see the motions more than just the pictures. It creates a much more immersive experience seeing an ad on motion than just seeing a picture. I personally get more engagements on my social media ads from videos than just pictures.
Seeing is believing, therefore, in my experience, video ads tend to get better engagements compared to static creatives. However, if the video is clearly ad, it might not bring in good conversion, however, if you keep your video ads just like a regular video, it might have better chances of conversion
