Giving gift cards is an excellent way to gain trust of your customers. Gift cards like amazon should be boycotted. However, there are other gift cards that could be offered to your customers. So, should you be offering gift cards to your customers? If yes, then why?

It is a way of promoting the business. So, I don't see anything that is wrong in doing so as the basic thing is that it helps to increase sales. I don't know how to generate those gift cards, so at the moment, I make use of other means of rewarding customers who are loyal and patronise my business.
