Links can add value, but also lead to spam or self-promotion. How do you set boundaries without limiting useful resources? Do you allow links with in the posts or do you restrict it? Do you have specific sections where users can embed links within their posts.

I don't allow external links to be shared within the posts or topics. I do not have marketplace section on my forums. But in the past, I had marketing and advertising section on my forums where users could submit links. I even had a link directory for users to submit their links
I usually allow links but set clear boundaries. Posts can include useful, relevant resources, but I restrict promotional or unrelated links. Some communities create dedicated sections for sharing links or resources, so users can post freely there without cluttering main discussions.
