Paying for ads on popular website or Google/Meta?

What's your favorite platform to pay for ads when you're looking at promoting anything online? Some people argue that it's better buying ads on popular website because it guarantee immediate results because active members on the websites will be reached and they can be converted as quickly as possible. Do you think that's true? Have you ever experimented ads on popular websites?

I usually go with Meta and Google for ads. They offer precise targeting, measurable results, and a wide audience reach, which makes them more reliable for driving traffic and conversions compared to advertising on individual popular websites.

Frankly speaking, I have never advertised on other websites. Whenever I had to run ads, I have either used Google ads or Meta ads, and sometimes even Tiktok ads. I think if you want to spend money on ads, you need to use bigger platforms because that's where you will get conversions.

Buying ads on Google or Meta gives strong targeting, flexible budgets, and clear analytics. Google reaches people actively searching, while Meta reaches audiences based on interests and behavior. Ads on popular niche websites boost credibility and brand awareness but cost more and offer less targeting. If I had to choose I would choose Google or Meta.
