There are many metrics that are taken into consideration for digital marketing, for example, clicks, impressions, engagement, revenue, etc. Which ones actually matter, and how do you avoid focusing on vanity metrics? When you are marketing on the Internet what do you actually look for traffic or revenue? How much the medium conversation rate should be to become successful?

I believe you can measure success by tying metrics to your goals. Track traffic quality, conversions, and revenue, not just clicks. Monitor engagement, cost per acquisition, and return on investment. Use analytics to see what drives results, then adjust campaigns based on data, not assumptions.

For me, revenue and conversion rates matter more than clicks or impressions alone. Traffic is only valuable if it leads to action, so I track engagement that drives sales, sign-ups, or meaningful interaction. Success depends on context, but even small improvements in conversion can have big revenue impact.
