Do you think that writing before Google is the primary rule in copywriting?

I read somewhere that the primary rule in copywriting is to write first and think about keywords later. When copywriters concentrate too much on keyword density, their writing can sound unnatural. However, giving top priority to relatable and valuable content encourages readers to engage innately. What do you think?

I don't concentrate on keywords when I write, whether it is a blog post or a copy. When you are too concerned about keywords, your writing will fail. Once you do the writing, you can then search for keywords or long tail search term related to your topic.

I completely agree. I think focusing first on offering valuable, relatable content is essential. If you write with only keywords in mind, the text can feel forced and unnatural, which quickly turns readers off. Personally, I always try to write smoothly and then optimize by including keywords organically, without them interfering with the reading process. The important thing is that the message is clear and useful, because ultimately, a satisfied reader interacts more, shares, and returns, while a text full of artificial keywords rarely generates engagement. Prioritizing user experience over algorithms has given me better results in terms of reading time and conversions. It's a balance between SEO and real value, and I believe that well-written content is always more valuable than over-optimization.
