Forums have lost popularity since their rise on the internet, people nowadays concentrate more on social networks or a few massive forums that have the most traffic, so do you think forums will still be popular in 10-15 years? or are they a thing of the past?

Forums are older than social media sites. despite social media becoming very popular forums continue to exist, therefore, I believe forums will continue to survive 10-20 years later as well
Yes, but they’ll likely evolve. Traditional forums may decline as social media, AI-driven communities, and real-time chat platforms take over. However, niche forums with strong communities will persist, especially where in-depth discussions, expertise, and long-form content matter.
