I have read somewhere that shorter URL links rank in a much better manner as compared to longer and complicated URL links. I think that search engines have a really harder time ranking complex URLs, so what do you think? Is this true?

Yes, shorter URLs can help with SEO. They’re easier to read, remember, and share, which can improve click-through rates. Search engines also prefer clear, descriptive URLs, so keeping them concise and relevant often boosts rankings compared to long, complex URLs.
