Reddit values authenticity and self-posts. How can brands participate without seeming spammy? Should marketers focus on niche subreddits, AMA sessions, or value-driven contributions? How do you measure success when engagement norms differ so much from other platforms?

Yes, but only if you lead with value, not promotion. Reddit communities are sensitive to intent. Participate genuinely, follow subreddit rules, share insights or experiences, and only mention your product or community when it’s clearly relevant. Soft references work; direct marketing usually backfires.
