Do you know anyone whom happen to lose their job over a silly reason for what they did? There was a news online not long ago about an air hostess who was sacked for doing a video in plane twerking.

She was sacked for lack of ethics which I believe was a very silly thing for her to do in her work uniform inside the plane.

What's the silliest reason you're aware of why someone was sacked from their job?

It's never happened to me, but I've known several people who were fired for perfectly fair reasons, such as not doing their job properly or missing too many days of work. So, what did they expect? It was obvious they were going to be fired.

As long as a staff is slacking on his or her job, the person is costing the company money which is why sacking them as quickly as possible is a smart thing to do.

They deserve to be sacked and even sued for breach of contract.

I do know a few cases where people lost their jobs for what most would consider silly reasons. One that sticks in my mind is about a guy who worked in a retail store. He was let go because he ate a bag of chips from the shelf during his break without paying first. The funny part is, he was planning to pay for it when he clocked back in, but management decided it was " theft." Technically, they weren’t wrong, but it still felt like an extreme reaction for such a minor thing.
Another example I’ve seen is someone being fired for posting a harmless meme about Mondays on their personal social media. The company claimed it “reflected poorly on their professionalism” because the post hinted at not liking work. Imagine losing your paycheck over a lighthearted meme!
The air hostess twerking story you mentioned falls into the same category. While it might not have been the most professional choice, firing her feels excessive, especially since it wasn’t harming passengers or flight safety. Sometimes companies act too harshly out of fear of reputation damage.

A friend of mine was sacked from his driving job because he worked out and toned his body to look fit with abs. The boss sacked him because he could easily snatch his wife with his new good attractive body and looks.

That man is a very useless human being because the problem is not with his driver but his wife. I'm very sure that he knows that the wife is a very promiscuous human being unfortunately your friend had to pay the price.
